I had a dream that my mother and her husband (these may have been fictional characters) went somewhere, didn't come back, we found evidence of them in the desert, where they either took off with, or we found, a "metro bus". In the dream, a metro bus was something that looked like a bus, but was about 3 feet high, maybe 5 feet long, had thin cloth walls, and a wire frame. I think it was green, too.

Something in my dream told me that that was better than a normal...

I had a dream in which various things happened, but the only thing I remember is that I got in trouble for leaving a light on overnight.

The goofy thing about that is, at 12 cents a kilowatt hour, leaving a 60 watt bulb on overnight costs 17 cents.

EDIT: Excuse me, leaving it on for 24 hours. If "overnight" would be 8 hours, it'd be 6 cents.

I had a dream last night that I was driving people I knew around California. We had a GPS navigator, but for some reason I wouldn't turn it on until I was hopelessly lost.

I also had a dream that important things were thrown away.

I can elaborate on that. It turned out that the wood wasn't joined normally, by being perfectly flat and having the two flat edges glued together. Instead, each side had notches in it, and the notches were supposed to fit together. And then the pieces that were notched...

I had a dream that I was playing a piano at a recital. The piece was Claude Debussy's Clair de lune, but every so often, that ghost hand from the church in Banjo-Kazooie would appear over the keys and mess me up. (Yes, I know it was that specific ghost hand because it looked just like it - polygonal, not realistic at all.) No one else could see the hand but me so everyone thought I was making the mistakes. My dream this morning ended with driving through downtown on an empty tank of gas.

I sort of had a map in my head during the dream.

We started in the south, downtown was surrounded by a river like a moat, and after working our way through the city to the north east, we could get gas, cross a bridge, and get home. This isn't what the real geography is like.

I did have a dream last night. I wish I could remember it more, because I do have a sense it was kind of elaborate and epic.

I do remember there being something about how we had RPG-like powers in real life.

I had to fight a lot of undead monsters, most of which I could beat with a "turn undead" skill. But then FO and I were confronted by some white, rotten faced ghoul in a red robe, and it was much too powerful for our normal tricks. I had to show FO how to...

I had a dream last night that some game systems and other memorabilia I've gathered over the years went missing. There was a flea market in a local convention center and I went there out of suspicion that's where my stuff would turn up. I did find a booth that was selling my stolen stuff but what was weird is that I also found booths that were selling toys and clothes I used to own when I was really little.

I had a dream that FO and I were riding a vulture like a Chocobo through the country (like what it's like when we go to the bay). We rode past some other HUGE vultures, at least about as tall as human children, but bulkier. Some were black, and some were red or even like a rainbow of iridescence; in my dream I thought those were turkey vultures, but that's not what they really look like.

We went past most of the vultures with them barely noticing us. But a couple caught...

The only thing I remember from my dreams last night was that my grandmother said wanted to eat a cake with us, she went to bed, I did a bunch of stuff, and several hours later my sister asked me why I let our grandmother go to bed before we ate cake together.

I've had enough posts about dreams lately that a thread devoted to them could be in order.

I had a dream this morning that there was (I don't think I personally was in the dream in any way) a show called something like "Kick your ass". It was like a game show, with teams of ten people (that seemed to be of grade or middle school age). Each person on a team would get to give one punch to whatever they felt like punching. Then the next team would have their turn.
