I had a dream that there was an NES version of the PS2 Shinobi. A few things were obviously different, one including health potions you could collect in massive quantities, which made even Hiruko a wimp. I made a post about it, then Crawl came and edited my post for spoilers, saying I wasn't supposed to tell the world Hiruko's last name was "Ubasuna" for some reason.

I had a dream last night that was very, very incoherent. I'll try my best to describe it. First of all, I dreamed that I was back in my NJ hometown and the downtown area was almost completely different from how it really is. The buildings were all arranged in such a way that you could ride a bicycle into the first building at the north end of a block, and go through each building all the way down the street to the south end of the block. I had a dream during my nap this morning. At the end of it, I was in a contest that was like a Donkey Kong 64 style minigame. Bob-omb-like enemies would enter a small room (which even had Banjo Kazooie style graphics), and we could pick them up with a dust pan and drop them off. The idea was supposed to be that you should try to get the bombs to explode on the other person. After their life bar was depleted, you'd win. I have, from when I was a baby, a stuffed bear named Boo Boo. I had a dream a few days ago that I found Boo Boo and he was completely falling apart. It was such a realistic dream that it didn't occur to me that it was a dream for days later. In real life, a few years ago he started coming undone in his arm pits, and my grandmother sewed him back up for me. That must have been what occasioned the dream.

I had a dream a few nights ago that I somehow ended up in Disneyland. I wasn't going to Disneyland, mind you; I just ended up there. Anyways, I made a beeline for the Haunted Mansion, but stopped when another attraction near the Mansion caught my eye. It was hard to miss, because it was a giant skull, surrounded by a purple glow while everything else in the dream was obscured by black fog.

I dreamed that we were able to take Caramel and Pepper to the parks with us and they'd follow us along the trails. Although sometimes Caramel would go off on her own to play with her pink plastic ball toys, but she would always come to us when it was time to go home. I sometimes have a reoccurring dream that I'm watching a long-lost episode of Captain N that always starts out with them sitting on a giant flower (kind of like the one in the opening sequence of Paladin's Quest). I think I had that dream again last night.

Later on in the dream, the place was identified as the estate of a rich family that lived on the "West Coast of Texas". I had just passed some advanced training with a weapon -- though perhaps had not reached the highest level of mastery of it, which might only then come with time. After replaying Breath of Fire 2 I had a dream that there was a new Breath of Fire game for the Nintendo DS that was similar in play style to the first two but had graphics like Super Mario RPG. One area that I was playing through was a rocky cliff that had enemies stationed around several parts of it and cave openings you had to go in and out of to reach the top. The music playing in the background was actually something from Saga Frontier.

I had a dream that if you waited a really long time at the Shadowgate title screen, it would change to a screen showing credits with the main theme from Deja Vu playing along. The credits screen looked like it was intentionally made in Atari 2600 style graphics. It had a blocky diamond-shaped border and a ball would bounce slowly around the screen within the diamond shape. Each time it hit a corner, a different name in the credits would appear.

I had a weird dream last night. Part of it took place in this large white interior area that looked like an asylum, or a jail, or a laboratory ... but the sort of laboratory where Frankenstein would be made.

The strange thing, though, was that I had the feeling that that was a reoccurring dream element, while I don't think I ever really dreamed about that before.

It was also only a small part of the dream, but the rest is too disjointed to describe.

I had a dream that I woke up this morning and there was this huge upside-down glacier of ice over our front yard. The glacier was textured like a mass of tennis balls, had a crater in the peak, and was gray, but I dusted some of the snow off and it reavealed normal-colored ice underneath. In the dream I described it as looking like the Alien Queen got frozen while trying to lay an egg on your front porch. I went back much later in the day and it was rapidly melting.

Two nights ago I had a dream that I was going somewhere (don't know where) and Hermes kept showing up and following me. I'd pick him up and put him on this little dirt path that he'd take back home.

But then he came back again, so I sent him home again.
