			<description><![CDATA[ Anyone watching this? It's a spinoff of Avatar: The Last Airbender, one of those gems that Nickelodeon comes up with every now and again. The show takes place about 70 years after the original series and it's been rather fun to watch. J.K. Simmons (Cave Johnson of Portal 2) does VA work, which is a plus for me, and there have been a lot of throwback jokes and references.<div><br></div><div>I don't think I gauged how people felt about Avatar, either.</div> ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ <a title="From this random blog" href="http://blackeyecomics.blogspot.com/"></a>Have you ever been driving, and you put your turn signal on to change lanes or go around something, and the guy directly behind you suddenly pulls over, too, and tries to get ahead of you?<br><br>I've had this happen to me twice this week. In both situations, there was a disabled vehicle in the road and the line of traffic ahead of me all put on turn signals and started to go around. I followed as such, but both times the guy behind me tried to overtake me and I almost got hit in both situations. The person who just did it to me on my way home tonight even had the gall to blast their horn at me. They pulled into the turn lane at the light and as I drove past, since their windows were rolled down, I <span style="font-style: italic;">screamed</span> at them. Seriously, what did you think? Did you not notice the long line of cars going around the disabled vehicle? Did you think my turn signal was your grand... ]]></description>

(Back when I originally put the ActRaiser music up for the Rec Room feature, I was on limited bandwidth and cut this short on purpose. 			<description><![CDATA[ I think it's odd it's so difficult to find information on this already compiled.&nbsp; So I put it together myself.<br><br>All these graphs are for Single Income, no deductions (other than the standard) (unrealistic at the high incomes, since the rich often pay maybe 10%, but whatever).<br><br>This is marginal tax rate as a function of income.<br><br><img src="http://www.flyingomelette.com/ezboard/pap/taxes1.png"><br><br>This includes the standard deduction in the<span style="font-style: italic;"> rate</span>.&nbsp; Most places, including Wikipedia, include it in the <span style="font-style: italic;">income</span>, which I think is completely counter-intuitive.&nbsp; Most people know their income, not their "taxable income after standard deduction".<br><br>To rephrase that really simply, the x-axis is just your actual income.&nbsp; This is the case for all these graphs.<br><br>This is the actual tax you pay:<br><br><img... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ I just found out something interesting about the two Kagero songs on my website.<br><br>The one I called Random Battle Theme is actually called Wing of Darkness and the one I called Keith's Battle Theme is actually called Circle of Fate.<br><br>Even more interesting is that despite the game having several different composers, these were both done by the same person...an Ayako Toyoda.<br><br>Is it at all possible this is the same Ayako Yoda who did the Robotrek soundtrack and her last name was nicked for whatever reason many game developers had nicknames in 8- and 16-bit era credits?<br> ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ Man, what a fucked up site. The TV ads and website make it seem like it's a way to discover your family tree and facts about your family. But it's a goddam convoluted mess of a site that didn't help me find jack shit.<br><br>I poked around with the free version, and it seemed like it had a lot of information on my family members. I was pulling up (obscured, of course) records of my grandparents, that ostensibly had information about their parents. So I do a two week free trial, and holy fuck, all the easy stuff from the non-member version went right out the fucking window. I kept getting sent in circles. <br><br>Plus, it doesn't actually have all the records that it looked like it had. What's really stupid is if you don't know the name of a relative, it's almost impossible to find it via the site. Well, helloooo! Why would I join a site to find my relatives if the site says you have to have info about them first! And those little green leaf hints from the commercial are useless. All... ]]></description>
